Typical applications
- They are suitable for aluminium DC a continuous casting.
- To achieve the optimum filtration performance, filters should be preheated. Incorrectly preheated filters may lead to a decreased flow rate, decreased filtration performance or even aborted casts.
- Filters should be preheated as uniform as possible, as non-uniform preheating may lead to thermal stress and tension inside the filter, which finally may lead to cracks.
